Value-based event triggers just became significantly more flexible. When defining a trigger condition, you can now compare a variable's value against a device or variable property — not just a fixed number or another variable's live value. This means a single event can adapt automatically to each device's own configuration instead of being hardcoded to a static threshold, which is particularly useful when different devices in the same fleet operate under different limits or calibration values. And to support this, variable properties are now a thing: where properties used to be exclusive to devices, you can now configure them at the variable level as well, opening up a finer degree of per-variable customization across your account.
