👷‍♂️More Ways to Work With Incidents

The Incidents module now offers a Kanban board view alongside the existing table, giving you a faster, more visual way to read your operation's workflow at a glance. Incidents are organized into three columns — Open, Acknowledged, and Resolved — each with a live count, so you can immediately see where things stand without sorting or filtering through a list. On top of that, Escalation Policies are now available to end users as well, meaning the full incident management workflow — from detection to escalation to resolution — is no longer limited to account owners and admins. End user access to Incidents itself is coming soon.

For teams building AI-powered applications on top of Ubidots, the MCP server now includes a dedicated set of Incidents tools. Through the MCP, an AI agent can list, create, acknowledge, comment on, assign, and inspect the history of incidents; covering the complete incident lifecycle programmatically. Combined with the new Kanban view and the broader availability of Escalation Policies, the Incidents module is becoming a more complete operational layer: one that works whether you're monitoring from the dashboard, managing from a mobile interface, or running it all through an AI agent.
